It was in rented room, where Hans and Margarete Hagner established a business to manufacture transparent packages:
sicht-pack HANS HAGNER. Already two years later, their business moved to its first small shop floor. By offering innovative transparent packages and showing a flexible customer orientation, the company grew continuously and ranked as one of the leading manufacturers of transparent packages in Germany by the end of the 70s. The enterprise was transformed into a limited company (German GmbH), and has been trading under the name of sicht-pack HAGNER GmbH since then.

New development: Card film out of PP
In the dynamic market for ID cards, a sheer “material war” has been inflamed: Initially a PVC domain, now i.a. ABS, PP and PVC compete against each other. A new player in this field is sicht-pack Hagner GmbH (Postf. 1140, D-72276
Dornstetten/Hallwangen). The enterprise has launched the “Hagner Card Film out of polypropylene“ as a new development in the market. Hagner: “By means of these films, the CD, ID, chip and smart cards become high-quality products which comply with all requirements of a multifunctional medium in best manner.” As advantages there are identified: a favourable price, low surface weight, fully recyclable, temperature resistance at 150° C, permanently available raw material. The films are pigmented in the thicknesses of 40 to 1000 my and delivered crystal clear for manufacturing laminated cards made out of several film layers as well as single-layer cards.
