As of December 12, 2023, internal whistleblower reporting offices are established in our corporate group. The establishment of these reporting offices is in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG). The primary goal of the law is to ensure that applicable laws are observed within our corporate group.
Moreover, whistleblowers are protected from reprisals such as termination, salary changes, or reassignment of tasks by the Whistleblower Protection Act.
The whistleblower reporting office is operated by external trust lawyers, Attorney Claudia Vogel and Attorney Dr. Stefanie Heinrich, www.vogel-heinrich.eu. Information on what you need to consider when submitting a report, how to submit a report, and the process of handling a report by our trust lawyers can be found at:
www.vogel-heinrich.eu/fuer-hinweisgeber
There, under www.vogel-heinrich.eu/unsere-vertragspartner, you will find the respective tiles of our corporate group.
Whistleblowers can generally choose whether to contact our internal reporting office or an external reporting office. Further information on external reporting offices and their responsibilities can be found here: Federal Reporting Office
In addition to the economic foundations of the company, it is ensured that ethical and social guidelines are followed. To this end, sicht-pack Hagner GmbH complies with the requirements of the
international standard SA8000®, the amfori-BSCI Code of Conduct, and the Sedex guidelines for SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit):
Prohibition of child labor: Children, adolescents, and apprentices are given special protection and may not perform hazardous work. Questions can always be directed to the HR department or the training supervisor.
Prohibition of forced labor: No documents are withheld from employees, and applicants are not charged any recruitment or job application fees.
Ensuring the health and safety of all employees: Protective equipment is provided free of charge. A risk assessment and hazard evaluation are conducted for each case, particularly for expectant and nursing mothers.
Ensuring freedom of association: Free elections for the works council are held. The works council is regularly informed by management about current developments.
Prohibition of discrimination: We do not turn a blind eye! Various reporting options (works council, SA8000 employee representative, anonymous mailbox, IMS team, supervisors) are available to address conflicts before they arise.
Prohibition of disciplinary measures involving physical punishment, psychological and physical coercion, or verbal abuse of employees: Reporting options are also available for these cases, as well as the external bodies listed below.
Compliance with working hours according to international guidelines and the German Working Hours Act: Our company agreements meet or exceed the requirements of the German Working Hours Act to fulfill social standards.
Wages meet the statutory minimum requirements and are sufficient to cover basic needs plus an additional disposable income: Our salaries are significantly above the statutory minimum wage and are regularly monitored.
Prohibition of corruption, bribery, and any form of fraudulent business practices – as well as adherence to fair competition, including compliance with antitrust laws and intellectual property: We win through quality.
Management for monitoring and compliance with all guidelines and regulations: This is carried out by the IMS team.
All complaints, reports, and questions regarding these above-mentioned topics can be addressed to the company representatives (works council or the SA8000 employee representatives) or directly to a contact person at TÜV-Süd regarding SA8000. Contact details are:
