SICHT-PACK HAGNER GMBHTranslation:
Further expansion / Investment of 3 m DM / New co-extrusion installtionAt sicht-pack Hagner GmbH (D-7295 Dornstetten 3), the course continues to be set towards an extremely strong expansion. Besides the large-scale installations being already in action for manufacturing APET and PETG films
which are equipped i.a. with a fully automatic injector control and allow today to manufacture film thicknesses within the range of 100 to 1000 µ with a tolerance of +/- 2 µ, end of 1991 a fully automatic
laminating installation of Polytype AG(26, route de la Glane, CH-1701 Fribourg) was invested in. Through this, it was achieved , so said chief executive Hans Hagner to KUNSTSTOFF INFORMATION, "to make a further step into a future-oriented production of films ".
Thus, the offer was extended towards solvent-free composite films. Particularly, the manufacturing of PET/PE films or also of composites out of PET/PE-EVOH-PE to be processed on FFS installations for stable packages is mentioned in this context.
Moreover, it is today possible to offer the film processors a complete system, i.e. bottom and upper film.
In March, a new co-extrusion installation of Barmag AG (Leverkusener Str. 65, D-5630 Remscheid) is brought on line at Hagner which is designed for manufacturing PP and PS flat films. Hagner: "Particularly in the field of
thermoforming, the polypropylene continues seeing new applications. In combination with the experience of the company sicht-pack, we can today offer the processor the film quality that is each time appropriate especially for his range of use." – The overall investment in the year 1993 amounted to almost 3 m DM. During the last five years, Hagner invested
altogether about 25 m DM particularly in the field of
film manufacturing
